I have always wanted to make something like this years ago when I saw something similar on a website as a bracelet, I never got the time to do it until last week. This is a green agate with Swarovski crystal necklace, hand wrapped with silver wire, silver beads and charms. The centre piece is held by two strands of silver chain and finished with a toggle clasp.
The centre piece was supposed to be a bracelet, but upon completion, it was too long for a bracelet and made a better statement necklace. The charms have a nautical/animal theme...turtle, lobster, boat, frog, ladybug, gecko and whale tail included.
I realize this is not something you can wear with outfit, but with the right outfit the statement is plain fabulous.
