I made some more flower beads recently (my third time lampworking) and they turned out great! (A much improvement from last time). The flowers actually resemble flowers, practice really does make perfect. Keeping the beads round and about the same shape was a challenge, I will make some more beads and focus on their shape better next time. I am also experimenting with colours/glass though, like when to use a clear or opaque colour for the best effect. Nonetheless, I am addicted to lampworking!
